Concert of exams and scholarships

The students of the Department of Folk Music Tradition of the Athens Conservatoire, under the guidance of the Head of the department Thanasis Polykandriotis, are getting prepared for the annual concert of exams and scholarships.
This year’s concert, in which well-known singers will participate, will be dedicated to the well-known and favorite songs of their teacher, Thanasis Polykandriotis.
Giannis Savvidakis, Vicky Karantzoglou, Christiana Galiatsou and Aris Kampanos performed the famous songs of Thanasis Polykandriotis.
The event will be prefaced by journalist Costas Balachoutis.
The musicians who accompany the students are: Nikos Kainourgios guitar, Nikos Stratigos piano, Spyros Glenis percussion.
On the same day, sponsorships and new courses will be announced for the coming student year, which will increase the interest of young and old students in new learning practices, according to the developments in learning the folk instruments of our tradition.
